Love & Go
We are Martinsville First Church of the Nazarene (M1 Church). We are a group of individuals united under the banner of Christ to Love & Go. We strive to follow the greatest commandment to "love our neighbors as ourselves" (Mathew 23:38) while following the great commission to "GO and make disciples of all nations" (Mathew 28:19). Jeff Floyd
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jeff has been the lead pastor at M1 since June 2014. Jeff counts it a privilege to serve the LORD by serving others in this special place called M1. Pastor Jeff grew up in Martinsville (Class of '84) and M1 Church. Jeff and Rae have been married 32 years and have two sons, Levi (29) and Lucas (26). Besides preaching, teaching, and sharing life with the great people of M1... Pastor Jeff enjoys spending time with daily workouts, singing with M1 Praise Team, walking with Ms. Rae and growing as a follower of Jesus!
Josh Sutton
Youth Pastor
Pastor Josh has been part of the M1 Pastoral Team since October 2017. He grew up at Martinsville First and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University. He leads the M1 Youth Ministries... highlighted with teens gathering each Wed night to praise, connect, and fellowship. Pastor Josh enjoys reading and hiking, spending time with his cats, and taking trips to special places.
Kurt Ennis
Associate Pastor
Pastor Kurt joined the M1 Pastoral Staff in August 2023. Like Pastors Jeff and Josh, Kurt is originally from Martinsville First Church. He is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has pastored Nazarene Churches in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. He has been in chaplain ministry for over 20 years; Kurt has a passion for those with medical/physical difficulties and hospice situations. He is married to Kim and they reside outside Martinsville.
Mike aDAMS
Praise Team Leader
Mike Adams has been part of M1 Church since 2014. He leads the M1 Platform Ministry, co-teaches the Hope Adult Class and does visitation. Mike enjoys farming, singing and giving tours of his model train room. He is married to Nelda and they reside in Anderson, Indiana.
