M1 MINISTRIES
M1 is a special place where you can connect with God... and learn to serve God by serving others. Here are a few of the mnistries offered at M1 Church at this time...
M1 Children's Ministries
Led by Children's Ministries staff, our kids are given a weekly experience of Praise & Worship, Bible Story/Illustration, prizes, games, and fun... all in Jesus' name! Check-in / Check-out is required for our Children and all volunteers have been screened. Our priority is leading Children to Jesus each and every week through the power of the Gospel.
M1 Sunday School Ministries
We still believe Sunday School is a great way to study the Bible for the entire family. M1 offers age-geared classes for all ages each Sunday morning. We also have Bible Studies on Wednesday night for adults. Life Groups meet throughout the week. Thursday mornings and evenings for ladies of the community. M1 Missions Ministries
M1 Church supports the Mission Ministries of the Church of the Nazarene International, with over 730 Missionaries serving in 156 countries. M1 Church gives 15% of donations toward sharing the Gospel of Jesus world-wide, supporting missions, education, retired missionaries & pastors, and on-going ministry outreach through the Indianapolis District Church of the Nazarene.
M1 Youth Ministries
Led by Pastor Josh Sutton, the M1 Youth Group continues to grow and make an impact on senior and junior high students. The primary meeting time is Wednesday evening at 7pm (Family Night). There are also opportunities for community service, attending Christian events (concerts / conferences) and Summer Youth Camps.
M1 Music Ministries
The M1 Praise Team has one goal in mind for our Worship services - follow the leading of the Holy Spirit! The Praise Team consists of members of M1 Church. The music sets include a variety of today's Christian music... from top contemporary hits to favorite hymns & southern gospel classics. The Praise Team rehearses on Wednesday nights.
M1 Food Pantry
For over 30 years, the M1 Food Pantry has ministered to the hungry of Martinsville and Morgan County. Under the direction of founder Patty Clark, the M1 Food Pantry serves thousands of individuals and families each year, with the highlight being "M1 Christmas Baskets" distributed each December. All M1 Food Pantry workers are volunteer, with no paid positions. There is always a place to serve in the Pantry, because there are always hungry people in need.
As Matthew 25:40 shares, "When you've done it unto the least of these... you've done it unto Me."
M1 Prayer Power
M1 Church believes in the power of prayer.
